Andrea and Rick were so nice and helpful. They spent lots of time showing me all kinds of beautiful plants and explaining what would work and not work for me in the space I have. They are incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me and all my questions. The plants they helped me choose were all healthy and happy and I think they are a great value for what you’re getting. My garden looks so beautiful and I can’t wait to go back and have them help me with more gardening projects!

It was my first time at Mickman Bros because I live in the way south metro. However, I had so much fun shopping for houseplants and supplies that I’ll make the trip in the future - even joined their garden club! Lynn helped me and was so wonderful. Not intrusive, but checking in to recommend pots and to even tell me the last time she watered the M.Siltepecana I got so I could keep the plant’s routine. Lynn knows her plants, y’all. Speaking of, this monstera has trails up to four feet long! It’s so healthy and beautiful. Make the trip, you won’t regret it.

We went to Mickman Brothers when it was raining and awful outside for some beautiful backdrops for prom photos. To be honest, my daughter’s friend planned it and I had no idea how many people were meeting there. We ended up taking up practically a quarter of the store but the manager was super gracious and kind and let the kids keep posing for pics until closing time ❤️

My family and I showed up at 5pm on a Saturday knowing that they close at 6pm.... We shopped around for about 25 minutes and then one member of the staff started locking doors. First we were locked out back (along with another person) and we had to get someone to let us back in (@5:26pm), then we were locked inside the main building and had to have a staff open the door to let us back out at (@5:42pm), then we were trying to leave the parking lot well before 6pm and TWO of the exits were already locked so we had to drive around the nursery until we finally got to an open exit. I get it... it is a Saturday... it was hot out... workers have better things to do than be at work.... but still... call me crazy but if the place closes at 6pm then maybe the doors shouldn’t be locked until the clock says 6pm. *Be advised: whatever time the company says they close is not when the workers decide to close.

Be careful about using Mickman Brothers for your holiday greenery (wreaths, mini Christmas trees, sprays etc). One they have your parent contacts for the year you use them, they will continue to make contacts to the parents in subsequent years even when your program is no longer using them. We wrote to them last year to ask why they were contacting our parents and boosters when we were no longer using them for the program, and we received no response. It begs the question that what did they do with any of the money they receive from any boosters that thought they were promoting their school program? I can tell you that we received nothing from them last year even though they promoted to our parents and boosters that we were using them. Again, we wrote to them several times asking them to stop and there was no response.

Mickman's was hired to put rock boarders around all the houses in our association. They were supposed to move all the sprinklers out of the rock beds as well. Problem number one installed sprinklers under the edging of the rock, so when the sprinklers go off they can not fully come up or some get stuck up. Problem number two some sprinklers are still in the rock. Problem number 3 one of my sprinklers was buried under the rock and plastic causing two other heads to not work. Problem 4 rock is sinking in many areas as I do not believe they staked down the plastic underneath well enough. I talked to Mickman's they blamed R homes which is out of business but don't worry Paxmar stated a new company LGI homes don't buy unless you want to be disappointed. Mickmans stated that R homes pulled them off the project and our association is not investigating. So between R homes Mickmans and Associa I am getting the run around. Someone step up it's not hard to move sprinkler heads. Stop by Parkside north in Blaine to see the work to the detached townhomes. I have attached some pics.
